The U17s went to Ayr on Friday, 13th Apr 2007 - here is the start of the sorry tale...

 

Friday morning arrived and the "Usual Suspects" arrived, Jed Powell with his designer sun glasses on, which obviously he must have been wearing, when he got dressed that morning as the Baked Beans and Fried Egg were still sticking to his Baggy Shorts.

Martin Bowe otherwise known as "Herr Flick ", due to his likeness to Adolph Hitler,(see picture ), Sean the Leprechaun Mcquillan, Hollow legs Rigby,our coach "Elmo Fudd Coldman, Gerry,our "Roy Orbison " lookalike with the "Nerd" glasses, two new "Lambs to the Slaughter" Martin & Phil, our equivalant to "Parker" driving the Bentley and of course "Shrek", whose effigy was immediately placed on the front window of the bus.

Finally there was the lads, who could forget our little angels.

Just before departure everybody was handed their "Scottish Headgear " of Tartan Bonnet & Ginger Wig and our Driver Steve played our signature tune of "500 Miles " at full blast as we pulled off the carpark.
